Douglas S. Stacey, D.P.M.

Dr. Stacey received the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California college of Podiatric Medicine located in San Francisco, California. Dr. Stacey graduated with honors and was accepted to one of the finest podiatric surgical residency programs in the country located in Salt Lake City Utah. During his residency he performed or assisted in over one thousand podiatric procedures. His training included correcting bunion deformities, and removing heel spurs, to complex reconstruction of the arthritic and deformed foot and ankle. His residency also included plastic reconstructive surgery although his practice is strictly limited to foot and ankle surgery. His expertise also includes congenital deformities, sports injuries, diabetic foot, problems with aging, children’s foot problems (podopediatrics), and laser surgery. Dr. Stacey is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Nevada Podiatric Medical Association. He is Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Gerald W. Torgesen, D.P.M.

Dr. Torgesen is originally from Houston Texas area. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California where he received the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. His fourth year of medical school was spent at Los Angeles County/ USC medical Center where he began his clinical training. He then went on to complete a two – year surgical residency at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. His residency training has emphasis in diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and lower extremity trauma. During this time, he also learned the latest techniques in correcting bunion deformities, hammertoes, bone spurs and many other foot deformities and problems. Dr. Torgesen has extensive experience working in conjunction with other medical specialties in the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds in the foot and lower leg. Dr. Torgesen is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Nevada Podiatric Medical Association. He is also Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Torgesen is also fluent in Spanish.
Philip J. Larsen, D.P.M.

Dr. Larsen is a graduate of California College of Podiatric Medicine (Deans List) he served a three-year residence at Yale/VA Connecticut Healthcare System. This is a comprehensive residency in foot and ankle pathology with a strong medical background. This includes impatient management, extensive emergency room coverage of lower extremity trauma as well as extensive foot and ankle surgical training with long term follow-up. While Yale Chief Resident he had the responsibility of teaching medical students, as the program was a California College of Podiatric Medicine and Yale University School of Medicine Clinical Campus. At Yale he learned the limb salvage team approach. This is a conjoined effort consisting of vascular, orthopedic, podiatric, internist, plastic surgeon and renal specialists. He specialized in diabetic foot reconstruction treated with random and non random skin flaps including rotational, transpositional, pedicle, muscle, and split thickness skin grafts. He is skilled in laser surgical techniques, bunion correction and flatfoot reconstruction. Dr. Larsen is Board Certified in foot surgery. Dr. Larsen is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and is also an active member of the Nevada Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Larsen is also Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Jeff Korab, D.P.M.
Dr. Korab grew up in the Seattle area. He graduated from Brigham Young University before attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the Franciscan Foot and Ankle Institute, part of the Franciscan Health System in Federal Way, Washington. During his three year surgical residency he received exceptional training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including forefoot surgery (bunions and hammertoes) and advanced rearfoot and ankle reconstruction and trauma. Dr. Korab has also completed additional training in arthroscopy, trauma surgery, and deformity correction using circular external fixation. He has volunteered his skills many times for the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project in Merida, Mexico. Dr. Korab is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Leonard Franklin, DPM, FAAHP

Dr. Franklin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Undergraduate schooling at University of Detroit and Wayne State University studying pre-med. Podiatric medical schooling was obtained at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 1967 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. This was followed by post-graduation surgical residency studying directly with profession wide renown podiatric surgeon Raymond Suppan, DPM at the clinics of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. After completion of all training he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and began a 35 year long private practice. During his practice years Dr. Franklin was involved with the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and the Broward County Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Franklin served two terms as President of the Broward County Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Franklin also served as director of the podiatric hospital based surgical residency program at Las Olas General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale for two terms. Throughout his practice years Dr. Franklin spoke at many varied community organizations. Dr. Franklin was deeply involved in many civic and religious organizations and served on the Board of Directors of the Broward County chapter of the March of Dimes for 25 years. Podiatry has been and will continue to be of primary importance in his life.
